Description & Scope:
Join the Petrel portfolio team and support their effort to develop a streamlined workflow for temperature modeling - a key improvement in the development of a fit-for-purpose platform for geothermal modeling.
As part of this project, you will:
1. Participate to the engineering efforts by SLB Digital
2. Work hands-on on industry-standard modeling software platforms
3. Get direct exposure to geothermal modeling experts, coordinating the implementation of their knowledge into software workflows
This internship offers a unique opportunity to apply your knowledge in a practical setting, while contributing to impactful work in the field of digital innovation for low-carbon energy sources.
Responsibilities:
4. Support the Petrel portfolio to coordinate the development of a temperature modeling workflow
5. Coordinate the effort of various engineering and UX development teams
6. Develop workflow descriptions and help documentation for the temperature modeling tasks
7. Coordinate expert user input and validation and facilitate feature testing
Qualifications:
8. Studying a Bachelors in Geoscience or a related discipline
9. Petrel Basics
10. Bonus: Leapfrog knowledge
