*You will receive a £100 Bonus for the first 20 shifts that you complete with Driver Hire.*
Position: HGV Class 2 Driver
Days: Monday-Sunday (Flexible)
Start time: 07:00 AM
Start date: ASAP
Location: Salisbury
Pay Rate: £16.25 (basic) – £18.21 (nights) – £20.17 (weekends). Quoted rate is for PAYE advance holiday pay.
As a HGV Driver you MUST have:
1. a minimum of 6 months of recent commercial experience
2. a valid UK HGV driving licence
3. a valid CPC and digital tachograph card
4. clean driving licence with no penalty points
5. your own transport to get to and from work
As a HGV Driver you will be responsible for:
6. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
7. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
8. Safely operating HGVs to transport goods to various locations
9. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
10. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, colleagues, and customers
