Role Overview
We are looking for a Graduate Mechanical Engineer who is motivated and enthusiastic, to join our world class team. This is a unique opportunity to build a career designing and developing complex mechanical systems, working on one-of-a-kind projects that will shape the future of the aluminium industry. You will travel worldwide to collaborate with clients, suppliers, and installation teams, and play a supporting role in pushing our designs forward toward a greener, more sustainable future.

Key Responsibilities
* Support the mechanical design of bespoke aluminium furnaces and casthouse equipment, from concept through to completion.
* Assist in producing design calculations, 3D models, and technical drawings.
* Work alongside senior engineers to explore innovative solutions, including sustainable and hydrogen-based technologies.
* Collaborate with colleagues in mechanical, process, and electrical teams to deliver integrated project solutions.
* Gain international experience by supporting projects at customer sites around the world (with opportunities for travel).
* Contribute ideas for continuous improvement and help challenge the norm with fresh thinking.
* Ensure all designs follow international safety and environmental standards.

Skills & Qualifications
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline).
* Strong problem solving mindset, eager to challenge traditional approaches.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Curiosity and enthusiasm to learn quickly.
* Willingness to travel internationally as part of project delivery.
* Familiarity with CAD software and design tools, ideally AutoDesk software.
