Workshop Engineering Tutor (Mechanical Engineering) Full-Time | Permanent | Telford We are seeking a motivated and skilled Workshop Engineering Tutor to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis at our Telford site. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone from the mechanical engineering industry who is looking to move into education and training, with full support provided. The Role You will deliver a range of machining, milling and turning units, combining practical workshop-based teaching with underpinning theory. Teaching will be to Level 1-3 learners and apprentices, helping them develop the skills and knowledge required for successful careers in engineering. Key responsibilities include: Delivering hands-on workshop sessions in machining, milling and turning Teaching associated theory to Level 1-3 learners and apprentices Ensuring high standards of health & safety and workshop practice Supporting learners' progress and achievement Who We're Looking For Level 3 qualification in Engineering (essential - no higher qualification required) Relevant, current experience in the mechanical engineering industry Confidence working in a workshop environment A desire to train, mentor and develop future engineers No teaching experience is required - we welcome applications from industry professionals looking to transition into education.
