Sheridan Maine is partnering with an innovative, growing business to recruit an Assistant Accountant to join their friendly and collaborative finance team.

What you’ll be doing:
* Supporting financial analysis and data processing as part of the month-end and reporting cycles
* Assisting with forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
* Preparing clear reports to provide visibility on revenue, orders, and margins
* Raising sales invoices and supporting timely payment collection
* Reconciling costs and ensuring accurate financial records
* Helping with ad hoc projects and wider finance tasks as needed
What we’re looking for:
* Ideally studying towards AAT/CIMA/ACCA/ACA (or qualified by experience)
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and spot trends
* Highly organised, detail-focused, and able to meet deadlines
* Confident Excel user with a good grasp of financial systems
* A proactive team player with a problem-solving mindset and a willingness to learn
