Main purpose of the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Development Assistant to join us as part of our Group Technical Department, based from our Doncaster head office with agile/hybrid working. This is a fixed term contract role for to cover maternity leave for a period of around six months. Reporting to the Technical Development Director, the successful candidate will provide administration support service to the department, whilst developing their own technical and architectural knowledge and skills. The Technical Development Assistant will support all Technical Development team members and demonstrate strong relationships through ability to work cross functionally to achieve successful outcomes.
The main duties of the Technical Development Assistant will include administering drawings and specifications to document registers, issuing technical memos, updating the departments SharePoint and Asite pages, as well as general administrative duties such as attending meetings and taking minutes, setting up and maintaining filing systems, and coordinating diaries for the team.
They will also get involved with the monthly update and coordination of reporting in line with our NHBC requirements, distributing analysis to regions and monitoring reporting showing NHBC statistics across the groups.
