NHS Receptionist/Administrator - 4 Week Temporary Role
Location: Blackburn
Hourly Rate: £13.57 per hour
Duration: 4 weeks (with potential for extension)
* 08:00 - 16:30
* 10:00 - 18:30 (Late shift is most important)
Monday to Friday
Free parking on-site
Basic DBS check required
My client is looking for an experienced NHS Receptionist/Administrator to join a busy team in a fast-paced office environment for a 4-week temporary role, with the possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will have EMIS experience and a strong background in NHS reception duties.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing front-line reception and administrative support in a busy office
* Answering calls and handling queries in a professional manner
* Managing face-to-face patient interactions and appointments
* Administering care navigation tasks where needed
* General office administration tasks to ensure the smooth running of the service
* EMIS Experience - Prior experience working with EMIS is essential.
* NHS Reception Experience - Previous experience working as a receptionist/administrator within the NHS.
* Care Navigation Experience - Knowledge and experience in care navigation would be an advantage.
* Excellent Telephone Manner - Ability to communicate clearly and professionally over the phone.
* Presentable - Smart office attire required.
