Join Our Team as a Chef at Chartwells!
Are you ready to bring your culinary passion to life? We're on the lookout for an ambitious Chef to join our dynamic team at Chartwells on a part-time basis, with a contract of 30 hours per week. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to create exceptional food experiences that brighten the days of our clients and customers. As part of the UK’s leading food service company, you’ll be supported in your growth and celebrated for your individuality.
Please note: This role is contracted for 43 weeks per year.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Chef, you will:
* Prepare delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers.
* Oversee and implement menu changes to keep our offerings fresh and exciting.
* Identify opportunities to enhance our food services.
* Act on customer feedback to consistently improve our offerings.
* Support the creation of new menus and innovative food concepts.
* Represent Chartwells and maintain a positive brand image.
* Monitor inventories to ensure our kitchens are well-stocked.
* Oversee kitchen cleaning responsibilities to uphold hygiene standards.
* Comply with Food Handling, Hygiene, and Health and Safety regulations.
What We’re Looking For
Our ideal Chef will:
* Be passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service.
* Hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent.
* Have experience supervising a team.
* Possess experience in a similar Chef role.
* Hold a Food Hygiene certificate.
* Have a flexible approach to working.
