Job Title: Senior Corporate Actuary
Are you an experienced actuary ready to drive financial strategy with significant business impact? Join Neilson Financial Services and lead valuation initiatives that directly influence our strategic direction.
Your Role:
* Lead valuation and financial reporting functions
* Contribute to strategic pricing decisions
* Develop embedded value calculations and financial reporting systems
* Evaluate Insurance-Linked Securities (ILS) and Financial Reinsurance solutions
* Manage valuation processes across various regulatory environments
* Conduct Experience Investigations to refine assumptions
* Provide valuation insights for retail pricing strategies
* Collaborate with finance and risk teams on business planning
* Mentor junior actuarial staff
Qualifications:
* Fellow of Institute and Faculty of Actuaries or equivalent
* Experience in life insurance valuation and financial reporting
* Expertise in embedded value methodologies
* Knowledge of ILS structures and financial reinsurance
* Experience across multiple regulatory environments (UK, Canada, Australia preferred)
* Proficiency in SQL for valuation analysis
* Understanding of capital requirements and risk frameworks
* Strong analytical and communication skills
