Climate17 are partnered with a leading renewable energy business that develop, build, own, maintain and manage a portfolio of solar, wind and BESS assets across the UK.
They require an experienced Senior Asset Manager to oversee the operational and financial performance of a portfolio of renewable energy assets. This role involves maximising asset value through strategic management, performance optimisation, risk mitigation, and stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities
1. Monitor and analyse the operational performance of renewable energy assets.
2. Develop and implement strategies to optimise asset performance and efficiency.
3. Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure optimal operation and maintenance.
4. Prepare and manage asset budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
5. Analyse financial performance and develop strategies to enhance revenue/control costs.
6. Monitor cash flows and ensure financial targets are met or exceeded.
7. Oversee contracts with key stakeholders, including operations and maintenance (O&M) contracts, and service agreements.
8. Negotiate contract terms and manage relationships
9. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and resolve any disputes/issues that arise.
