About the job We’re on the lookout for a New Business Consultant to join our Manchester office, specifically working with our Bike, Leisure, and Commercial customers. Cars may be what we're best known for but we’re also the place for pretty much everything else on wheels, from e-bikes, vans, and campers. In this role, you’ll be the face of our business with prospective van retailers. Every customer is different, so no two conversations are the same. You’ll dig into their goals, listen to their challenges, and uncover what really drives their business. With data, insight, and a consultative approach, you’ll recommend solutions that give them the edge. As well as identifying your own leads and prospects, our data and insights team surface lots of opportunity as part of your lead generation strategy. From outbound calls to building your own pipeline, you’ll thrive on turning prospects into lasting partnerships. What we're looking for Proven success in acquiring new business to business (B2B) customers Experience using data and/or industry insight and be able to evidence where you have used this to influence customer decisions in the past Experience achieving commercial targets and KPIs A consultative sales approach, with the ability to understand a customers’ business to offer competitive solutions The ability to articulate a complex product offering and keep up to date with the competitor landscape Strong organisation and prioritisation skills Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills During our application process, you will be asked two questions to help us learn more about you and how you align with our values. These will be used as part of our selection criteria, to determine if we progress your application further. Benefits We’re offering a salary of £32,000 – £45,000, plus an additional 10% of your salary awarded to you in shares each year. These awarded shares will become yours in yearly instalments over the next three years, and you can choose to either sell them or keep them as shares. You'll have 28 days holiday per year, and that's in addition to bank holidays and half day closures on Christmas and New Year's Eve. That’s not all.
