About the Role
You will manage your own caseload under supervision, handling a range of legal aid immigration matters. This role offers hands‑on experience across applications, appeals, and tribunal hearings, while providing guidance and support to junior colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
* Handle legal aid immigration cases from instruction to completion
* Prepare for hearings and represent clients in tribunals
* Draft and review legal documents and correspondence
* Liaise with clients, barristers, and other professionals
* Conduct research to support case strategy
* Support a collaborative team environment and learn from experienced colleagues
Skills & Qualifications
* Newly Qualified Solicitor in Northern Ireland
* Experience handling legal aid immigration matters
* Strong legal knowledge and client care skills
* Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
* Committed to providing high‑quality, accessible legal advice
