ABOUT THE ROLE
Seeking a Chief Engineer to support the growth and delivery of Milsatcom projects in the export market. The successful candidate will support the tender process through the Clarification and Assessment phases until contract signature.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM
* Capture customer and RFP requirements, generate solutions, and produce technical specifications.
* Select, propose, and approve key technologies for the program.
* Run set-based concurrent development options and down-select to meet milestones.
* Produce technical Work Breakdown Structure, development schedule, and manage technical risks, ensuring timely, quality, and cost-effective deliverables.
* Monitor progress, resolve technical issues promptly, and lead engineering change management including customer requests.
ABOUT YOU
* Engineering experience across multiple disciplines.
* Knowledge of System Engineering practices throughout the project lifecycle, including associated methods and tools.
* Technical background in MilSatCom capabilities at the spacecraft (multi-band communications) and ground segment (ground stations, control, and management systems, operational centers) levels is highly regarded.
* Practical application of project management principles regarding quality, time, and cost.
