Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Recruit4staff is proud to represent their client, a leading manufacturer, in search for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work in their leading facility in Telford.
For the successful Maintenance Engineer our client is offering:
* £43,680 Per Annum + Weekly Production Bonus (depending on the business’s performance)
* 4 on 4 off; 5:30 PM to 5:30 AM
* Permanent position

The Role of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:
* Investigate faults and work with electrical and mechanical systems (such as Siemens S7)
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance and root-cause analysis for fault-finding on machinery
* Attend and diagnose machine breakdowns, including mechanical/electrical/hydraulic/pneumatics failures in an efficient manner
* Utilise a range of tools and engineering techniques to repair and maintain machinery to operational standards
* Ensure all maintenance issues are logged into the relevant systems accurately and promptly
* Maintain high levels of compliance with health and safety standards whilst performing duties
* Play a pivotal role in maintenance engineering projects and drive continuous improvement initiatives
* Regularly liaise with maintenance, production and quality departments regarding maintenance issues
* Service and maintain various other plant equipment, such as water heaters, pumps, etc.
* Adhere to planned maintenance schedules and effectively manage machine breakdowns
What our client is looking for in an Electrical Maintenance Engineer:
* Must have previous fault-finding experience, ideally relating to Siemens PLC run machinery – ESSENTIAL
* Must hold a qualification in Electrical Engineering (such as City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3, and 17th or 18th Edition) – ESSENTIAL
* The ability to design and manufacture basic electrical control panels
* Good understanding of PLC systems, and the ability to use associated tools for interrogation of the software
* An in-depth understanding of mechanical systems
* Ability to understand engineering and electrical drawings
* Competent in Microsoft products, including Excel, Word, and Project
* Knowledge of working with AC & DC CCT's, single & 3 phase systems and inverter drives
