Job Type: Full-time
Hours: 40 hours per week + overtime
Salary: £32,760 £37,440 per year (depending on experience)
On-call: Participation in an out-of-hours call-out rota required
About the Role Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit experienced Drainage Engineers to join our clients team. This is a hands-on role suitable for professionals with a background in both commercial/industrial and domestic drainage work.
You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving drainage issues, using high-pressure water jetting, CCTV inspection equipment, and carrying out minor repair works such as small excavations and lining or patching.
Key Responsibilities Diagnose and resolve blockages across domestic and commercial sites
Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment
Conduct CCTV surveys and assessments
Carry out minor drainage repairs, including excavations, lining, and patching
Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with relevant regulations
Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota
Complete job reports and documentation accurately
What Were Looking For Minimum 1 year of experience in the drainage industry (essential)
Experience with high-pressure water jetting (HPWJ card preferred)
Familiarity with CCTV drainage equipment
Ability to work on both domestic and commercial sites
Full UK driving licence (required)
Willingness to undergo a DBS check
Flexibility to work overtime and on-call
Strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering quality service
Desirable (but not essential):
Confined Space certification
NRSWA qualification
Experience in small-scale excavation, lining, or patching
