As a well-established distribution business operating within a quality-driven environment, this organisation plays a critical role in time-sensitive, multi-drop deliveries across Northern Ireland. Their focus on service, compliance and reliability has made them a trusted partner within their sector.
Working closely with the Transport Manager, you will support the day-to-day coordination of driver activity, ensuring routes run efficiently, issues are resolved quickly and operational standards are consistently met.

The Role:
* Leading, managing and supporting a team of multi-drop drivers on shift
* Coordinating daily routes and driver coverage, responding to changes and disruptions
* Acting as the first point of contact for drivers during operational hours
* Conducting driver briefings and debriefings
* Liaising with warehouse and customer service teams to resolve day-to-day issues
* Supporting onboarding and training of new starters and agency drivers
* Ensuring compliance with transport processes, health & safety and regulated goods handling
* Supporting performance against service and operational KPIs
* Assisting with people management matters including performance and attendance
Shift Pattern:
* Monday to Friday, rotating shifts:
o Early shift: 06:00 - 14:00
o Late shift: 12:00 - 20:00 (Monday-Thursday)
* Normal finish on Fridays
* Saturday mornings on a rotational basis only (typically 2-3 hours)
* Participation in an on-call rota (approximately 1 week in every 4-5)
You Will Need:
* Previous experience within transport or logistics operations
* Supervisory or first-line management experience, ideally managing drivers
* Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
* Good organisational skills with attention to detail
* Confidence using transport systems and handling operational administration
* A practical, hands-on approach to problem solving
* Experience within regulated or 3PL environments (e.g. healthcare, pharmaceuticals) is advantageous
