Interview date 09/07/2026.</p><h3>Job overview</h3><p>This fixed term split post provides specialist Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) across both the Woodfield Stroke Rehabilitation Unit (SRU) and the Integrated Community Stroke Service (ICSS). The post holder will work part time within the 14-bedded Woodfield SRU, delivering inpatient rehabilitation, and part time within ICSS, ensuring stroke patients across the community have access to timely specialist assessment, intervention, and ongoing care.</p><p>The role supports the delivery of a high-quality, patient‑centred stroke pathway, facilitating safe discharge from hospital and promoting recovery and independence post stroke.</p><p>As part of ICSS, the post holder will provide specialist assessment and intervention within patients’ homes or places of residence across a defined geographical area.
