Role: Warehouse Operative
Location: TPS Oxford
Hours: Full time, hours per week, with Saturday mornings on a rota basis.
Salary: National Minimum Wage

The role
We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our Trade Part Specialist store. The job purpose is to ensure the efficient and effective control of inbound and outbound warehouse parts, Lifting and moving stock as well as to support the provision of excellent service to customers.
Who you are
• Previous experience in parts or distribution
• A team-player who is comfortable operating with set processes and procedures
• Good Communication skills
• Ability to record information accurately
• Motivated, dedicated and organised with a focus on Health & Safety in the workplace
• Tech savvy and confident using appropriate systems and software ( Excel)
What you’ll do
• Maintain Stock securely and in good condition
• Assisting the warehouse supervisor with regular stock takes to ensure the stock in the warehouse meets with the computerised inventory, and reporting any discrepancies promptly
• Lifting and moving Parts within the warehouse
• Checking for any damage on incoming parts orders and recording any findings
• Identifying and storing inbound parts into the correct locations ensuring all parts have a part number
• Picking customers orders and preparing them for dispatch
• Ensuring that authorised signatures, receipts or payments are received for all parts issued over the trade counter and ensuring no unauthorised removal of parts stock out of the warehouse
• Adhering to Health & Safety regulations at all times (Particularly manual handling practices)
