KS2 Teacher – Huyton Primary School
Prospero Teaching is working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Huyton, Merseyside to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate practitioner to join a committed Key Stage 2 team within a well-established school that prides itself on high standards, strong leadership and a nurturing learning environment.
The Role
1. Full class teaching responsibilities within Key Stage 2
2. Planning and delivering engaging, creative lessons in line with the National Curriculum
3. Preparing pupils for end-of-key-stage assessments where applicable
4. Assessing, tracking and monitoring pupil progress
5. Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all learners
6. Creating a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment
7. Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents
The Ideal Candidate
8. Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
9. Has recent experience teaching within KS2
10. Demonstrates strong behaviour and classroom management skills
11. Is committed to raising attainment and pupil progress
12. Has excellent communication and organisational skills
13. Is reliable, proactive and enthusiastic
