We’re looking for a Senior Advisor to join our Producer Responsibility team to help deliver the Government’s Resources and Waste Strategy.
You’ll work with Environment Agency colleagues, Defra, UK devolved administrations, and industry to deliver significant legislative reforms. You can make a difference.
You’ll need to be adaptable, self-motivated, and able to translate policy into action.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Collaborating with stakeholders across government, industry, and the Environment Agency to influence and implement legislation for workstreams including Packaging and Deposit Return Scheme.
2. Providing technical advice within the Environment Agency and to industry.
3. Driving reforms in waste management to change how waste is managed in England, including shaping digital systems for waste management and policy development.
Our team is dispersed and works across the country, utilizing smart tools to stay connected. Some travel and overnight stays may be required.
The Team
You will join our Producer Responsibility Team, which leads on reforming waste regulations to meet the government’s resource conservation ambitions. Experience and Skills Required
