An expanding clinical negligence team in Birmingham with an excellent client base and high-quality work is seeking to recruit an additional Clinical Negligence/Medical Malpractice Lawyer. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a full caseload of pre-litigated and litigated matters for NHS Resolution and Insurers under supervision.
* Develop relationships with NHS Resolution/Insurer clients and Trust/Insured clients.
* Liaise with Primary Care practitioners of various specialties and backgrounds.
* Support Partners, Senior Associates, and Associates with business development and projects.
Candidate Requirements:
* 1 – 5 years PQE.
* Previous experience in clinical negligence or defendant medical malpractice.
* Ideally, experience with claims against Primary Care practitioners.
* Strong communication skills with a professional approach to work.
* Confidence in working directly with clients.
* Ability to build strong interpersonal relationships.
* Aptitude for drafting and legal analysis.
* Keenness to work collaboratively with colleagues at junior and senior levels.
* Excellent project management skills.
* Ability to provide supervision to more junior lawyers.
* Practical and commercial approach.
* Willingness to learn new skills and gain an in-depth understanding of relevant healthcare sectors.
