Position in Organisation

* Reports to Operations Manager
* Point of contact for/with service users
* Point of contact for/with community resources/providers

Scope of Job

As a Support Worker, you will be the primary point of contact for assigned individuals, providing them with guidance and support.

You will play a crucial role in engaging with often hard-to-reach individuals, building rapport, and motivating them to make positive changes in their lives. This will involve activities such as:

* Making initial contact and building rapport with assigned individuals.
* Developing a personalised change plan in collaboration with the individual, focusing on goals and steps to achieve them.
* Maintaining regular contact through various methods like face-to-face meetings, texts, and calls.
* Liaising with other professionals involved in the individual's life

We are looking for someone who:

* Has a minimum of 2 years of experience working with vulnerable adults.
* Has a proven track record of engaging with hard-to-reach individuals and building rapport.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent motivational and coaching abilities.
* Ability to assess and manage risks.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of individuals.
* Experience working within a multi-agency environment (desirable).
* Experience working with violence reduction strategies (desirable).
