Job Overview
We are recruiting an Asbestos Surveyor based in the Gateshead area. Ideal applicants will hold a P402 qualification and have experience surveying across domestic, industrial, and commercial sites. Applications from Sunderland, Gateshead, Durham, and surrounding areas are welcome.
Responsibilities
* Carrying out asbestos management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys on commercial and industrial buildings.
* Collating and producing comprehensive asbestos reports with detailed site information.
* Building and maintaining professional rapport with clients and colleagues at all levels.
* Complying with Health & Safety procedures related to asbestos.
* Addressing issues effectively and appropriately.
Qualifications & Experience
* Attained P402 or equivalent RSPH qualification.
* Significant practical experience in asbestos surveying and within the asbestos industry.
* Fully conversant with Health & Safety procedures pertaining to asbestos.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficient IT skills, including competency with MS Office applications.
Personal Attributes
* Dedicated and self‑reliant, able to work independently and as part of a team.
* Prepared to travel extensively as required by clients.
