Ford’s Office of Tax Counsel is seeking a motivated and technically strong UK Tax Accountant to support the delivery of high‑quality corporate tax compliance, reporting, and advisory services. This role offers broad exposure across UK corporation tax, tax accounting, R&D claims, and transfer pricing, with opportunities to collaborate closely with finance teams, European tax colleagues, and wider stakeholders. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting ongoing digital transformation within the Tax function, contributing to process improvement, accuracy, and compliance in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
The minimum requirements we seek:
1. Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) and/or Chartered Tax Advisor (0–3 PQE)
2. Strong technical knowledge of UK corporation tax
3. Experience gained in either professional practice or an in‑house tax function
4. Working knowledge of UK GAAP
5. Strong organisational skills with the ability to work under time pressure
6. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
7. Strong Microsoft Excel and general systems capability
Desirable:
8. Alphatax experience
9. Exposure to US GAAP
10. UK employment tax / benefits taxation experience

This position is based in Dunton, and it is expected the successful candidate will be able to attend the Dunton office for typically 4 days a week and remain flexible on the days they are required to attend the office according to business requirements.
