About The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this position is to oversee business operations, drive strategic growth, and lead operational performance across the organisation.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
4. Leading operational, financial, and strategic performance across the business
5. Managing and mentoring department managers and leadership teams
6. Overseeing project performance, workforce utilisation, and operational efficiency
7. Driving profitability through budgeting, forecasting, and financial management
8. Maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders
9. Ensuring compliance across WHS, environmental, and quality systems
10. Implementing systems, process improvements, and organisational initiatives
11. Supporting business development and identifying new market opportunities
12. Providing regular operational and performance reporting to the Managing Director
About You
The successful candidate will have:
13. Minimum 5-10 years of leadership experience within civil construction or infrastructure sectors
14. Strong operational and project management background
15. High-level commercial and financial management capability
16. Proven ability to lead teams and improve organisational performance
17. Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
18. Strategic mindset with hands-on leadership capability
19. Experience scaling business operations or teams (highly regarded)
20. Relevant qualifications in Construction, Engineering, Business, or similar (preferred)
