At Clarus Education, we are supporting the recruitment of a Further Education College based in West London who are seeking an enthusiastic and professional individual to join our team.
The successful candidate would teach across a range of courses in Business, focusing on BTEC programmes Level 1 to Level 3 and Access to HE, including Marketing and Finance units.
You will need to possess a degree in Business or a related area and will have some teaching or training experience. The college are looking for individuals with a passion for Business, with the ability to engage and motivate learners in Further Education, with a particular focus on young learners aged 16-18. You will be a team player with excellent communication and IT skills.

Qualifications
1. A degree in Business or related subject area
2. English and Maths at Grade C/4 or equivalent, or willing to achieve
3. Minimum full Level 5 teaching qualification recognised by the FE sector (e.g. PGCE, DET) or willingness and ability to obtain a Level 5 teaching qualification, supported by the College
Knowledge and Experience
4. Teaching or training experience
5. Experience of teaching and assessment on BTEC Business programmes
6. Able to demonstrate high levels of student retention and achievement
7. Experience of working in Business, and ability to embed industry/working practices into the curriculum
8. Ability to deliver Finance and Marketing units
9. Experience of designing and developing new course programmes
10. Up-to-date knowledge of Business

11. The ability to engage, motivate and inspire vocational learners, with a particular focus on effective strategies for teaching 16–18-year-old learners
12. Enthusiasm and commitment to teaching FE learners
13. Ability to employ effective classroom management strategies

15. Good communication skills, written and verbal
16. Good IT skills, including use of Microsoft software/tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Microsoft Teams

18. Ability and willingness to deliver teaching and support learners remotely, via Microsoft Teams, when required

Business Lecturer candidates should have a strong background in business education, along with excellent communication skills. The start date for the role is to be confirmed, but applications must be received by 7th July 2025.
