Duties
* Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to established recipes and standards.
* Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to plan menus and create innovative dishes that reflect seasonal ingredients.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items.
* Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
* Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in cooking techniques and best practices.
* Assist with serving meals during busy service periods, ensuring timely delivery to guests.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant setting.
* Strong culinary skills, including food preparation, cooking, and meal presentation.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for maintaining a clean kitchen.
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
