As Global Translational Medicine Lead Oncology, you will play a vital role in advancing healthcare through innovative solutions. Key Activities For This Role
* Develop and execute translational science and biomarker development plans in clinic
* Drive understanding of mechanism of action and patient selection strategies.
* Contribute to overall clinical development strategy and trial design.
* Collaborate with clinical teams to implement biomarker sample collection in clinical studies
* Drive analysis and interpretation of clinical biomarker data.
* Collaborate cross-functionally to translate preclinical science and deliver clinical biomarker data to impact clinical development
Essential Knowledge & Experience
* Extensive experience in drug discovery and development.
* Strong scientific background in cancer biology and oncology drug development.
* Experience in delivering pharmacodynamic, proof of mechanism, predictive biomarkers and understanding mechanism of action and resistance in clinic
* Proven record of leading projects and delivering biomarker data in a matrix environment.
* Excellent collaboration, communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to think strategically and drive innovation.
Preferred Experience
* Experience in tumour driver/oncogene biology, with expertise in solid tumours such as lung, colorectal, prostate, and pancreatic cancer.
* Experience with ctDNA analysis
* Experience in managing CROs
Education
* Advanced science degree (PhD, PharmD, or MD) or equivalent.
Additional Information
* Type of role full-time permanent.
* Location UK (Addlestone or Cambridge)
* This position follows our hybrid working model. The role requires a blend of home and minimum 1 day per quarter in our local office. Flexibility may be required in line with business needs. Candidates must be located within a commutable distance of the office.
