Responsibilities
 * Acting as the Lead Professional in statutory cases that require a qualified Social Worker, including child protection, care proceedings and looked-after children.
 * Undertaking assessment, planning, implementation and review of social work processes alongside children and their families.
 * Bringing together a multi-disciplinary team around the child to ensure a cohesive and effective support network.
 * Maintaining timely and accurate records of cases, plans and actions in line with Divisional policy.
 * Attending and contributing to case conferences, meetings, and court sessions, submitting verbal and written reports as required.
Qualifications
 * A degree in Social Work or equivalent and current registration with Social Work England or equivalent body.
 * A minimum of one year's post-qualifying experience, with recent experience of working in statutory childrens social work.
 * Experience in undertaking child protection investigations and knowledge of the UK/IOM legislative framework.
 * Experience of court proceedings and the ability to produce timely, accurate written reports.
 * A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
 * The ability to remain calm under pressure, manage a complex workload, and communicate effectively at all levels.

Salary: £24 to £28 an hour; High Cost Area Supplement may apply.
