An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to join our Finance team. In this highly visible role you will be responsible for supporting company performance by providing financial planning, analysis and business partnering. We fully support agile working, while also valuing in-person collaboration. To ensure strong teamwork and engagement, we ask that colleagues spend three days per week at our Skipton Head Office. What You’ll Need To be successful, you will have proven experience of working in a similar role. A relevant Finance qualification e.g. ACCA, CIMA, ACA is required with at least 2 years post qualification experience. Experience in the construction sector is advantageous but not a pre requisite. The role will report to the Head of Finance but will involve significant interaction with other departmental heads and support directors within the business. You will have confidence with ERP systems, databases and handling large sets of data. The ability to work accurately and to achieve deadlines is a must. This is a fast-paced environment and will suit a candidate who enjoys a mixture of both reporting and ad hoc project work. This is a great opportunity for an individual with strong interpersonal skills and a positive “can do” attitude to identify opportunities for improvement and drive change. The role will require management of two accountants, and previous management experience is required. The Role Of An FP&A Manager Includes Preparation and submission of: Annual budget Monthly reforecasting Monthly and daily cash flow forecasting Review of monthly management accounts and production of variance analysis Financial analysis of data and regular reporting to track key performance indicators and support decision making Other Accountabilities Will Include Business partnering to functional teams within head office Support bidding department by assisting with financial evaluation of potential new clients and ad hoc support with tendering activities Playing a key role in the roll out of new forecasting and budgeting software Management of a team of two accountants Working collaboratively with wider Finance team, including Reporting, Tax and Transactional functions.
