Job Summary
Avery Healthcare is one of the UK's largest providers of luxury elderly care homes, committed to creating meaningful experiences for residents and employees. We are looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Care Assistant to join our award‑winning team in Stratford‑upon‑Avon for the night shift, delivering high standards of personal care.
Responsibilities
* Assist residents with personal hygiene, ensuring dignity, independence and respect.
* Recognise and understand clinical risk areas (e.g., weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, signs of infection) and raise any identified risks promptly.
* Act courteously toward residents and visitors, respecting each individual’s dignity.
* Practice safe systems of work across all tasks.
* Support the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents during the night shift.
Qualifications & Requirements
* No prior experience required; a thorough induction and training programme will be provided.
* Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
* Demonstrate initiative, respect and flexibility to cover a range of responsibilities with short notice.
* Efficient worker capable of following reasonable instructions from team members.
* Good organisational and problem‑solving skills.
* Display the values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful and accountable.
Additional Requirements
* Valid DBS Disclosure check (cost paid by Avery Healthcare).
* Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.

Pay scheme: Other – £12.80 an hour.
Contract: Permanent – Full‑time.
