Your Experience
This highly ranked L500 department is seeking a 5+ years PQE Data, Digital and Commercial Lawyer who can lead on complex data, digital and commercial matters and contribute to the development of the overall team.
* You will have experience in: Leading on complex commercial and technology projects, advising on GDPR compliance, international data transfers, PECR, cybersecurity, AI governance and smart data initiatives.
* Drafting and negotiating on data sharing agreements, data processing clauses and other commercial contracts (both customer and supplier-side).
* Being the primary point of contact for key clients, managing relationships and delivering practical, commercial advice.
* Handling regulatory issues and supporting incident response teams, including dealing with regulatory investigations.
* Mentoring and supervising junior lawyers, ensuring high-quality, consistent work output across the team.
* Working with cross-functional teams (including employment, disputes, legal tech) to offer comprehensive client support.
* Contributing to business development, thought leadership and client engagement activities to build the firm’s presence in the data and technology space.
