Salary: £41,200 - £45,400
Hours: Monday–Friday, 7am–3pm

The Role – Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Working within a team of three engineers on shift and reporting into the Engineering Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for electrical and mechanical maintenance across a wide range of industrial machinery.
Core Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive repairs
Log all completed work using the CMMS system
Electrical troubleshooting across site equipment
Mechanical repair work as needed
Support breakdowns, plant improvements and reliability activities
Electrical Focus
Electrical fault finding on heavy industrial machinery
Working with inverters, contactors, relays, overloads, pressure switches, drives
Siemens PLC I/O checking
Supporting the development of electrical PPM routines
Reactive electrical maintenance (electrical PPMs currently being expanded)
Mechanical Exposure
Replacing bearings, gearboxes, rollers and mechanical components
Working on conveyors, screens, crushers and similar equipment
Strip-downs, rebuilds and general mechanical support
What You’ll Need
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering
Comfortable with both electrical and mechanical fault finding
Experience within an industrial/manufacturing environment
Motivated, reliable and a strong team player
Salary & Benefits
