An exciting opportunity has arisen within NHS Forth Valley’s Family Nurse Partnership Team for a full time Family Nurse Supervisor Band 8a post. We are looking for a leader with drive and enthusiasm to support the delivery of the Family Nurse Partnership across the areas of Falkirk, Stirling and Clackmannanshire. The successful candidate would be responsible for managing the work of the family nurses ensuring fidelity to the programme’s licensing requirements. This includes providing in depth clinical and professional supervision (including child protection supervision) to the team of maximum 7 WTE family nurses, maintaining the integrity and quality of the programme, overseeing recruitment and engagement of hard-to-reach pregnant young women, building local relationships and facilitating continual learning and service improvement. It would be advantageous but not necessary for the applicant to have the Family Nurse Supervisor qualification however it would be expected that the candidate would successfully complete this once in post if they had no prior qualification. In addition, they will also hold a small caseload of families to whom they deliver the programme. The NHS Forth Valley Family Nurse Partnership Team sits within the Women & Children’s Directorate at Forth Valley Royal Hospital however the successful candidate would likely be based at Clackmannanshire Community Healthcare Centre but required to travel across Forth Valley.
