Job Title: Structures Technician

Your Responsibilities
As a Structures Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and performance of our aircraft. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
* Removing and installing aircraft components, landing gear doors, access panels, and fairings.
* Documenting work performed according to appropriate manuals.
* Performing component repairs in line with Repair Station Certificate requirements.
* Fabricating aircraft parts and ground support equipment based on engineering drawings and specifications.
* Implementing structural modifications on aircraft.
* Assisting in conducting hidden damage inspections.
* Applying cleaning solvents and sealing compounds as per maintenance manuals.
* Complying with all environmental health and safety policies and procedures.
* Inspecting parts for warranty consideration as required.
What You Bring to the Table
We are looking for candidates who possess the following skills and qualifications:
* 2+ years of experience in structures work on military fixed wing/corporate aircraft/CRJs.
* Completion of a sheet metal/composite SC tech school or equivalent experience.
* Basic knowledge of reading and interpreting aircraft blueprints, drawings, diagrams, and manuals.
* Working knowledge of aircraft systems and maintenance manuals.
* Ability to troubleshoot and repair aircraft deficiencies and perform complex structural repairs.
* Proficiency in operating basic sheet metal support equipment.
* A basic set of hand tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
* A&P license preferred but not required.
* 4+ years of experience, with 2-3 years on corporate aircraft.
* Willingness to work overtime if available.
* Blueprint reading skills preferred but not required.

Work Environment
Experience a clean, indoor corporate business jet repair facility featuring two hangars. Our environment emphasizes professionalism, cleanliness, and safety, as customers are often present. You will be part of a team of 8-10 mechanics under one lead, with leads reporting to a Project Manager.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Windsor Locks, Connecticut.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may include:
