Mortgage Manager Responsibilities
* Lead, motivate, and manage a mortgage qualifier / coordinator team to exceed targets
* Drive performance across call quality, conversion rates, productivity, and task completion
* Conduct regular 1:1 meetings to allocate workload, identify training needs, and support development
* Coach, mentor, and onboard new team members as the team scales
* Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements where required
* Act as a senior representative when dealing with builder sales managers and senior sales executives
Experience Needed to Become a Manager
* Extensive experience within the mortgage industry with strong end-to-end mortgage knowledge
* Proven people management or team leadership experience
* Confidence working with senior stakeholders and strong sales personalities
* Ability to motivate, mentor, and manage individuals with varying experience levels
* Comfortable in a fast-paced, target-driven, office-based environment
* Strong work ethic with willingness to lead from the front
