Are you an experienced CMM Technician looking to work on complex, high-precision components within a highly regulated manufacturing environment?This is an excellent opportunity to join a modern manufacturing facility where quality, innovation, and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything they do.The RoleAs a CMM Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring components meet exacting customer, regulatory, and internal quality standards. Working closely with Quality, Production, and Engineering teams, you will be responsible for inspecting and verifying precision-engineered components throughout the manufacturing process.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram and operate CMM inspection equipment.Conduct first-off, in-process, and final inspections.Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements.Produce detailed inspection reports and First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs).Support root cause investigations and corrective action activities.Work collaboratively with Production and Engineering teams to drive quality improvements.Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and customer quality requirements.Maintain calibration and traceability records.Assist with internal and external audits.Support continuous improvement initiatives across the business.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:Previous experience in a CMM Inspection or CMM Programming role.Strong understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T.Experience using CMM software and inspection equipment.Knowledge of First Article Inspection (AS9102) processes.Experience using precision measuring equipment including micrometers, verniers, gauges, and shadowgraphs.Strong problem-solving abilities and a methodical approach to quality inspection.Excellent attention to detail.Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.Desirable ExperienceEngineering apprenticeship or relevant engineering qualification.Aerospace, defence, medical, automotive, or other high-precision manufacturing experience.Knowledge of SPC, MSA, PPAP, ISIR, and continuous improvement methodologies.Experience working within AS9100 environments.Understanding of special process controls and audit requirements.What's On Offer?Competitive salary up to £42,000 depending on experience.Overtime opportunities.Pension scheme.Healthcare benefits.Mental health and wellbeing support.Ongoing training and professional development.Long-term career progression opportunities.Modern manufacturing environment with advanced inspection technology.Supportive and collaborative team culture.Interested?If you're a quality-focused CMM Technician looking for your next challenge within a growing precision engineering business, we'd love to hear from you.Apply today with your CV for immediate consideration.TPBN1_UKTJ
