We are looking for an experienced Operations Administrator to work with one of our well-established clients in Burnley.
Job Purpose:
The Operations Administrator will handle HR and administrative tasks within the Operations Department, supporting the Production, Warehouse, and Engineering functions on-site and across multiple sites.
Essential Responsibilities:
1. Support all Departments with their critical operational administration requirements, managing time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard.
2. Assist Managers by providing information from HR database systems to manage staff related to absence, performance, development, and wellbeing.
3. Support Coordinators with Employee/Contractor inductions, ensuring all paperwork (e.g., checklists, PPE requirements) is current and site policies are understood.
4. Print Goods-in Checks and Labels for delivery (QA120s).
5. Maintain training records for audit compliance.
6. Organize right-to-work documentation for agency staff to meet compliance standards.
7. Contribute to system development and input processes.
8. Print and sign off timesheets for Operations promptly on Monday mornings.
9. Monitor accrued TOIL/banked hours, communicate with Department leads weekly, and coordinate sign-offs for payroll submissions.
10. Support reception coverage during breaks and holidays.
Skills and Competencies:
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with intermediate skills in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
* Experience with time and attendance systems, including payroll submissions.
* Proactive, can-do attitude, with a focus on efficiency and accuracy.
Additional Details:
Type of Work: Temporary to permanent
Hours of Work: 22.5 to 26 hours per week, Monday-Wednesday 8am–4pm, with optional work on Thursday 8am–1pm if needed.
Pay Rate: £13.05 per hour (£15,264.92 per year)
