Overview
Proven experience within food manufacturing supply chain management. A rapidly scaling premium food manufacturer are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Manager on a full time, permanent basis in Mansfield.
Responsibilities
* Full ownership of the end‑to‑end supply chain, ensuring smooth daily operations across planning, procurement, warehousing, and logistics.
* Manage relationships with approximately six core suppliers, overseeing raw material ordering, supplier performance, contract negotiation, and stock availability.
* Lead demand planning and production planning activities, translating forecasts into executable factory schedules and maintaining strong OTIF performance.
* Oversee monthly stock counts, investigate discrepancies, manage inbound supply, and mitigate low or excess stock risks.
* Drive warehouse organisation and optimisation, including layout mapping, pallet flow efficiency, and oversight of goods in / goods out.
* Manage 3PL relationships and support future retendering processes.
* Support NPD activity across 2-3 concurrent projects, ensuring supply readiness for launches and packaging updates.
* Maintain accurate data and reporting within the ERP system, and support finance with KPI reporting and month‑end requirements.
Qualifications
* Experience in food manufacturing is essential
* Strong experience across procurement, planning, stock management, warehousing, and logistics.
* Confident using ERP/MRP systems with strong Excel capability.
* Hands on, proactive candidate with the ability to thrive in a fast paced, entrepreneurial SME environment.
* Strong analytical capability, attention to detail, and comfort owning processes end to end.
* Collaborative, practical problem solver with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
