General Assistant - Bristol
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for General Assistant to work with a leading company in Food manufacturing. You will be working for the client in Bristol.
Shift Patterns
* 5 days on, 3 days off schedule – usually 06:30-16:00 (flexibility may be required during busy periods).
Pay Rates
* £12.71 hourly
* Overtime paid at £19.06 after 40 hours in a week
Required Qualifications
* Full 5-year work and/or education and address history
* Overseas criminal record check if lived outside the UK for over 6 months
* Basic DBS check for airside clearance (support provided); no unspent or suspended convictions that impede clearance
* Long‑term UK work rights (British passport, ILR or Settled Status)
* HMRC employment letter
* Residence within 40 minutes of site for early shifts including weekends
Desirable Qualifications
* Previous experience in a fast‑moving, trolley‑based or temperature‑controlled environment (preferred but not essential)
* Experience working within a diverse, multi‑cultural team
* Food Safety Level 2 certificate (training can be provided if required)
Role Responsibilities
* Perform general duties within a food manufacturing setting
* Assist with production line tasks as directed
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the work area
* Support team members to ensure efficient operations
