HGV Multi-skilled Technician Manchester
Salary: £28,000 £32,000 per year | Full-time | Permanent
Looking for a hands-on, varied role where no two days are the same? We are recruiting a HGV Driver & Multi-skilled Technician who enjoys practical, high-impact work and isnt afraid to get stuck in. This is an ideal role for someone with Class 2 driving experience and a background in groundworks, remediation, or multi-skilled technical work.
Key Responsibilities:
* Driving HGV Class 2 vehicles, including tankers
* High-pressure water jetting and spill clean-ups
* Groundworks, remedial works, and tank uplifts
* Tank/interceptor installation, servicing, and inspections
* Spill response and industrial cleaning duties
* Supporting emergency response teams as needed
* Training to national grid & rail standards
Requirements:
1. HGV Class 2 licence (ADR preferred but not essential)
2. Experience with RAMS documentation
3. Knowledge of tachograph and vehicle checks (training can be provided)
4. Flexible, can-do attitude overtime and occasional call-outs required
5. Multi-skilled trade background; plant operation experience is a bonus
