We’re looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join a vibrant and inclusive school in Blackpool. You’ll be working closely with pupils who need a little extra help—whether that’s with learning, confidence, or communication.
This isn’t just a classroom role—it’s about building trust, celebrating progress, and being a steady presence in a child’s day.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups
* Helping children with SEND, emotional needs, or learning gaps
* Working alongside teachers to adapt lessons and activities
* Encouraging independence and resilience
* Creating a calm, positive learning environment
Who We’re Looking For:
* Someone caring, patient and adaptable
* Experience in schools, nurseries, youth work or care settings
* Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification is great—but not essential
* A team player who’s ready to make a difference
* DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
