ROLE: Facilities Helpdesk Administrator
LOCATION: Cardiff Gate

We're looking for a Facilities Helpdesk Administrator who will support our Helpdesk Manager in ensuring the effective operation of the CAFM function across the client estate.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Collation of all documentation and information relating to the safe operation of hard services across all sites, including estate maintenance and reactive work records.
2. Ensure all tasks are completed and records are accurately uploaded to the CAFM system for ease of reference by both the client and Mitie colleagues.
3. Deliver accurate and timely reporting on all helpdesk responsibilities.
4. Maintain accurate record‑keeping and reporting of all maintenance activities within contract‑defined timeframes.
5. Identify reported mechanical, electrical, or fabric issues that could affect the building environment and require maintenance action.
6. Communicate and liaise with specialist subcontractors regarding scheduled service activities when required.
7. Follow Mitie policies and procedures relating to Quality, Health & Safety, and the Environment.
8. Immediately notify management of any Health & Safety issues associated with the contract.
9. Attend team briefings and training courses as required.

Required Qualifications:

Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.

10. Facilities Management experience.
11. Working knowledge of IBM Maximo or another CAFM system (desirable).
12. Basic knowledge of SAP.
13. Commitment to training and development.
14. A positive “can‑do” attitude across all areas of service delivery.
15. Strong team‑working capability.
