With lots going on at all times, you can guarantee no day will be the same.You’ll play a core part in making sure that Longshaw’s buildings and outdoor spaces are safe and presentable for everyone.You’ll quickly get to know our places inside-out as you’ll access all areas to complete routine safety tests, learn about our services and help with day-to-day operations. You’ll have an eye on presentation at all times, undertaking caretaking duties such as cleaning, emptying bins, sweeping and litter picking in staff and visitor areas, both indoors and outdoors.You'll sometimes find yourself working alone while at other times you’ll be working alongside colleagues. You’ll work closely with Longshaw’s Facilities & Support Services Co-ordinator and our Rangers to organise planned, preventative and reactive repairs, meet contractors, respond promptly to issues, and conduct minor repairs where appropriate.Whatever the day brings, you’ll ensure the highest standards of customer service by always implementing a ‘customer comes first’ attitude.The National Trust has the motto ‘For everyone, for ever’ at its heart.
