Overview
We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join our team at Lynton Vets from September 2025.
If you have a passion for customer service, experience in a veterinary reception, and are keen to make a difference in a busy veterinary environment, we’d love to hear from you. In this role, you will be responsible for greeting and interacting with clients in a welcoming and professional manner, ensuring that every visit is a positive experience. You will manage appointment bookings, handle queries, and take payments, while also dispensing medication and assisting with general administrative tasks.
Additionally, you will be required to handle account queries, chase outstanding debt, and manage payments, as well as complete end-of-day banking and monitor petty cash records. You will also support the team with any other administrative tasks as required by the Reception Manager, Practice Manager or Clinical Director.
About the Practice
We are a long-established Small Animal Veterinary Group. We recently relocated to a brand new, purpose-built practice in Woking and continue to invest in refurbishing and equipping our other practices to the same high standard. The practice maintains state-of-the-art clinical equipment including dental radiography, ultrasound scanners, anaesthetic multiparameter monitoring and patient warming equipment. We also have a purpose-built grooming salon. We have a loyal client base and a gold-standard reputation across the local community.
Join an exceptional team at Lynton Vets, supported by six Veterinary Surgeons and a team of Registered Veterinary Nurses, Student Veterinary Nurses, ANAs and experienced Receptionists. We foster a family-like culture and a supportive environment focused on well-being and professional development.
