Job Description:
Reporting to: Machine Assembly Supervisor
Function: Production
Business Unit: Materials Processing Coalville
Overview:
* Be a member of the Production team, including supporting Stores as needed.
* Support the Production Team to ensure a fast and efficient turnaround for all goods entering the site.
* Follow all production processes.
* Ensure timely loading of vehicles.
Responsibilities:
* Store parts safely and suitably.
* Maintain material flow to support Production.
* Accurately pick goods for manufacturing, third-party suppliers, and spares in a timely manner when requested.
* Handle offloading and loading of vehicles manually and with a forklift truck (FLT).
* Carry out daily housekeeping within stores and surrounding areas.
* Maintain good communication across all levels of Terex, including Purchasing, Manufacturing, Warranty, and Quality.
* Work safely following the Company’s Health & Safety guidelines, while being customer-focused.
* Support Continuous Improvement activities.
* Perform duties as required.
Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:
* FLT Licence – Counterbalance & Reach.
* Working knowledge of PC and Microsoft packages.
* Experience in a Stores and Engineering environment.
* Team player.
* Numerically competent.
* Experience with manual handling.
* Potential overhead crane work (training provided).
* Experience shunting chambers around the site using tractor and trailer.
* Experience loading and unloading lorries.
* Experience operating FLTs.
* Part identification skills.
* Ability to interact and deliver across departments.
