Overview

Job Title: Warehouse Operator

Location: Oldbury

Salary: £28,000 per annum

Contract Type: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Start Date: ASAP


Purpose of the Role

We are looking for a proactive and safety-focused Warehouse Operator to join our team in Oldbury. This role involves production, filling, vehicle loading, and order fulfilment operations, all carried out in line with company SOPs, policies, and safety standards. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of packed products.


Key Responsibilities

* Operate safely in accordance with company Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) policies.
* Perform daily operations including tanker unloading, filling, blending, and loading—primarily for solvents and industrial products.
* Ensure product quality and packaging standards are met before dispatch.
* Accurately complete and return production paperwork.
* Support office functions including delivery paperwork and basic TROPOS transactions.
* Assist with stock tracking, lot selection, and month-end stock checks.
* Maintain clean and organised work areas, ensuring walkways and emergency exits are clear.
* Report equipment faults and production issues promptly.
* Understand and troubleshoot area processes and equipment.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (BSI, SALSA, BRC, HSE).
* Support distillery operations if required.

* Forklift licence required – must be able to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.

* Good numeracy and IT skills; able to use TROPOS effectively.
* Quality-focused with a customer-first mindset.
* Flexible team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
* Understanding of distillery processes and raw materials is a plus.
