Purpose of Position:
To provide excellent customer service and an efficient and proactive administrative and technical support for all MB IT and application systems, working closely with third-party suppliers and actively participate in the testing and implementation of new systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Be the primary point of contact for all System & IT related issues, requests and questions
Provision of hardware for new starters, creation of accounts, and processing leavers
Reacting to tickets logged in our Support portal, to triage and progress to resolution or to assign within Systems & IT or to a 3rd party partner
Daily check of all system scheduled tasks and interfaces, and troubleshoot errors a/o rejects
Retail Stores and warehouses support including POS Application and hardware
Maintenance and housekeeping of all applications
Contribution towards training material, and providing training to all users where required
Participate in the analysis, design, test and implementation of any new business applications and new possibilities
Maintaining Asset register for all Systems & IT equipment
Assist on any ad-hoc duties as required by the department
Support the US Systems & IT Technician where required
Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required:
Must be able to work off own initiative, multi-task, and to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail, organisation skills and workload prioritisation
Excellent time management
Pro-active / takes ownership of responsibilities
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Logical and analytical
Systems
Computer science related degree in business systems or information systems preferable
Knowledge of POS, ERP, Ecommerce and PLM systems (ideally NewStore, NetSuite and Centric 8)
Ability to interpret and work with Data, being familiar with a BI software would be advantageous
IT
Basic programming languages (SQL, XML)
Proficient with OS; Windows 10, Windows Server, Mac OS X
Skilled in all Microsoft Office applications
Network knowledge
Experience of supporting business devices
Knowledge of VoIP telephony would be advantageous
Others
Office Based – 5 days a week
Some travel required
Previous fashion/retail experience would be beneficial
