What you will do:
1. Enhance the capabilities of the Security Operations team in managing the cyber risk Metro Bank faces in relation to cybercrime and Information Security.
2. Taking the output/alerting from the Operational security tools and ensuring actions are taken to address the vulnerabilities and reporting.
3. Triaging results and findings for false/positives prior to report distribution.
4. Participate and support with compliance managements i.e. with external governing bodies and internal audits and response management.
5. Providing support and analysis during security incident and report compilation in conjunction with the Information Security Officer.
6. Performing Scanning activities to find vulnerabilities.
7. Coordinating with other business and technical stakeholders to remediate vulnerabilities.

What you will need:
1. Understand the risks associated with your job and what that means for you, Metro Bank and all our stakeholders.
2. Vulnerability management and analysis skills.
3. Skilled with industry standard vulnerability scanning tools (Qualys/Tenable).
4. Proven experience in coordinating security and vulnerability Management programs (Regular vulnerability scans).
5. Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, SANS Top 20 and industry standard security best practice.
6. Process knowledge familiarity including communication and change management.
7. Relevant Information Security certifications (CEH, ECSA, LPT, CISA).
