We're recruiting for a 3-month temporary Management Accountant role based in Cannock, offering a salary of £40,000-£45,000. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy finance team and provide key support during a period of increased workload.
In this role, you'll play a vital part in ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting business decisions. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the organisation, delivering timely insights and maintaining strong financial controls.
Key responsibilities
* Preparing monthly management accounts and variance analysis
* Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
* Reconciling balance sheet accounts and maintaining accurate records
* Analysing financial performance and providing commentary to stakeholders
* Assisting with month-end and year-end processes
* Identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency
We're looking for someone who
* Has proven experience in a Management Accountant role
* Is part‑qualified, qualified, or qualified by experience
* Has strong analytical skills and attention to detail
* Is confident working with senior stakeholders
* Can manage workloads effectively and meet tight deadlines
* Is available to start at short notice or immediately
